Aligning environmental programs to NGSS? Learn how Howard County Schools developed a NGSS-aligned 4th grade MWEE, that provides students with authentic outdoor experiences, apply 4th grade science concepts, and get introduced to some key 5th grade standards. The session highlights how the program is organized, how we utilize our Science Teacher Leaders, and how we recruit volunteers from partner organizations. Participants will also participate in a role play simulation from the program.
