This session is a crash course on the three-dimensional learning that comprises NGSS standards and will introduce an aligned lesson from the award winning Port of Baltimore Education online portal. “Restore an Island”, is a hands-on STEAM activity about the history of Poplar Island, and how engineers are restoring the island to ensure it does not erode into the bay once more.
